Aging affects us all. So many things we do can affect our skin from genetics, smoking, drinking, or the sun.

If you are looking for tighter, more youthful-looking skin, a PDO thread can lift, reposition, and secure sagging skin.

A PDO Thread (Polydioxanone thread) is a non-surgical face life that regenerates and improves the structure of the face and body using dissolvable sutures to tighten and lift your skin.

PDO Threads help with smoothing fine lines and filling deficits in the skin, such as acne scarring and deeper wrinkles. They can also provide a subtle lift in areas such as the cheeks.

The result is an enhanced skin texture with fewer fine lines and wrinkles and improved elasticity for a more youthful, glowing appearance.

PDO threads are suitable for many people, including all skin tones, textures, and age groups.

Special threads are injected into the skin to lift tissue and improve texture during a PDO thread. The PDO threads stimulate the production of new collagen in the skin.

First, the provider will cleanse your face with alcohol. Then a local anesthetic will be applied. The provider makes a small incision into your skin with a needle and inserts a cannula instrument into the small hole. The thread will be anchored into place and pulled out with the cannula. Finally, the provider cuts the PDO thread after it’s in place.

The procedure lasts around 30-45 minutes.

Patients will notice an instant lift in areas of treatment. The PDO threads dissolve after about 4-6 months, but the effects last much longer in most people.

Results last for up to 2 years.
