PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. This treatment involves the use of platelet-rich plasma to boost results dramatically. PRP is obtained by drawing your blood and processing it in a centrifuge for several minutes before treatment.
Microneedling creates micro-injuries to the skin, which assist the skin’s collagen and elastin production. This creates tiny mico puncture wounds that stimulate the body to heal.
This allows the hyaluronic acid or platelet enriched plasma (PRP) to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing the effects in deeper layers of the skin. PRP consists of platelets from the blood that aid tissue regeneration. They boost tissue repair and aid in collagen and elastin production.

Before treatment, the patients should avoid unprotected exposure to UV rays for several weeks before their treatment, including sunlight and tanning beds.
Before treatment, patients should drink half a gallon of water daily. Before therapy, the patient should cleanse their face with a gentle cleanser and warm water. Your provider will cleanse your skin; we will apply a topical anesthetic.
The skincare provider will use a microneedling pen/device gently across the treatment area. The microneedling session is painless and helps create bouncy, new, younger-looking skin and tighter-looking pores.
The microneedling session should only around half an hour.
